Pella’s Royal History

Every year, the city of Pella chooses 5 young ladies in the community to represent the town and spend the year promoting the annual Tulip Time Festival.

The Tulip Queen and her Royal Court travel the area educating people about Pella’s Dutch heritage with information, song and dance.

Throughout the years some of the traditions of the Tulip Court have changed but many remain the same.  This site captures the history of these wonderful women and their time representing this “little touch of Holland”.

“Once a Queen, always a Queen”
